Mid Wales
The Mid Wales region includes Ceredigion, Meirionnydd and Powys and parts of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons National Parks.
In common with many of the other areas of Wales, the coastline is spectacular and the Brecon Beacons offers some of the most breath-taking walks in Britain.
Mid Wales is populated by thriving market towns including Built Wells, Welshpool and Newtown plus Aberystwyth on the coast and although predominantly rural, many national and international companies are based here.
The colleges in this region are Coleg Ceredigion, Coleg Meirion Dwyfor and Coleg Powys.
