The College
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru is the largest Further and Higher Education College in North Wales with around 24,000 students studying over 3000 courses. The main Coleg Llandrillo Cymru Campus is based in Rhos-on-Sea with further sites in Rhyl, Abergele, Denbigh and Llanwrst.
The College provides a broad choice of full and part-time courses ranging from basic skills training through Apprenticeships, and A Levels to HNC/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Honours Degrees and Postgraduate Studies.
The College has developed a national reputation for excellence which means that all our students are supported and encouraged to succeed.
Courses
The College offers a range of courses from Art, Business & Retail, Computing, Construction, Engineering, Hair & Beauty, Health & Care, Hospitality & Catering, Motor Vehicle, Science, Sport and Tourism. The College also has a full range of A Levels, GCSEs and the International Baccalaureate.

14-19 years of age
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru offers a wide range of academic and vocational qualifications from entry level through to A Levels, National Diplomas and the International Baccalaureate. You can even continue your studies through to degree level.
As a student you’ll also have access to excellent IT and Sports facilities including the College’s Sports Academies.
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru was also the first College in Wales to score straight grade ones - the highest grade achievable – in a Government inspection.
Apprenticeships & Traineeships
Work-based training schemes are about getting trained and qualified while you work and earn money. You can start at any age over 16 and get hands-on training, a wage or training allowance and nationally recognised qualifications.
You could even train in the workplace all the way up to university level.
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru has scored straight grade ones - the highest grade achievable - across the board for the quality of its work-based learning and training.
Higher Education, Post Graduate & Professional
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru is associated with the University of Wales and offers a wide range of full and part-time Honours Degrees, Foundation Degrees, Higher Nationals and professional qualifications.
The College can also provide you with access to a wide range of financial support, careers advice and study support whether you’re a full-time or part-time learner. Small class sizes and individual attention mean you won’t get lost in the crowd.
Adult Learners
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru has a wide range of course for adults if you’re looking to develop your skills and aspirations. Alongside full-time qualifications the College has a wide range of part-time daytime and evening courses from entry to degree level.
The College also delivers a wide range of courses at sites throughout the North Wales area including the recently re-launched Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl as well as sites in Abergele, Denbigh and Llanwrst.

Business Point offers a range of high quality, free or affordable training that is flexible enough to fit around the demands of your business.
We offer training and professional development opportunities at our training centres and in the workplace and, with access to a large amount of funding for employee training, it means we can often offer reduced cost or free courses.

The International department at Coleg Llandrillo Cymru can offer you a wide range of courses from basic level through to degree level, and is a very friendly place to study and learn.
You will be able to find part-time work and can choose from a variety of accommodation options including host families and self-catering flats.
