The College
Coleg Llysfasi and Wrexham Training provide high quality learning opportunities for the community within a welcoming and supportive environment.
Courses are designed to meet your needs from full to part time courses, evening classes and work based opportunities.
From our base in the Vale of Clwyd the college’s influence goes far and wide. Llysfasi works in Anglesey, Gwynedd, Meirionnydd, Flintshire, Wrexham and Powys.
The college can offer students prestigious accommodation facilities. Phase One of a major refurbishment to our hostel was completed in July 2008, with rooms featuring en suite facilities, fast internet connection and easy access for the disabled.
Courses
We offer a wide range of subjects to study including agriculture, forestry & conservation, small animal care, engineering, business, management, information technology, French, Spanish, Italian, Welsh for adults, care, childcare, hairdressing, beauty therapy, holistic therapy.
14-19 years of age
Coleg Llysfasi offers a wide range of subjects which young people will be interested in studying.
Our experienced expert tutors provide a caring and supportive learning environment. Many courses feature study visits to a whole host of fascinating venues right across the country and abroad.
And as well as high quality teaching – away from classroom time there are fun leisure opportunities for students to enjoy.

Adult Learners
Coleg Llysfasi offers expert education and training for everyone from young adults through to pensioners in the 80s and beyond.
The college believes it is vital to go out into our communities and we offer lessons in many out-centre venues where it is often easier for people to reach.
Classes are held in the day time and evenings. There is a wide selection of subjects and variety of study lengths.
Employers
If you send an employee on a course you will receive information regarding the course content, duration and hours of study, costs, qualifications and credits that can be achieved on successful completion, together with a regular report on the progress of your employee.

International
Coleg Llysfasi is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd. We have good access to Liverpool and Manchester airports, both of which are just over an hour away by car.
Being a rural-based college we offer hostel facilities for students. These are undergoing a prestigious upgrade project.
In the summer of 2008 the college hosted many overseas groups involved in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. They were accommodated in the hostel’s newly completed Phase One refurbishment.
Open Days
Everyone is welcome to attend our open days. They are an opportunity for members of the public to come in to the college, talk to tutors about the courses on offer, see the facilities and find out just what life is like at Llysfasi & Wrexham Training.
