Neath Port Talbot College - FoodAs the second largest College in Wales, Neath Port Talbot College (NPTC) has one of the widest ranges of full- and part-time, academic and vocational, courses to choose from.  We also have a variety of modern apprenticeships to choose from if studying full-time is not for you.

With eight campuses across Neath Port Talbot, friendly staff and facilities that are second-to-none, we can provide you with a caring and supportive learning environment that will help you to reach your potential.

Apprenticeships & Traineeships

Apprenticeships offer you valuable hands-on work experience, which will provide you with the practical skills employers are looking for, as well as, the opportunity to attain industry-recognised qualifications helping you secure a permanent job.  You can also use the Apprenticeship route for promotion opportunities or advance onto Higher Education.

Typical training routes include: Accountancy; Business Administration; Care; Childcare; Construction; Customer Service; Engineering; Horticulture; Hospitality; IT; Motor Vehicle; Retail and Management.

Apprenticeships at NPTC are an excellent way for employers to develop their existing staff or recruit new employees. A more capable, motivated and responsive workforce can be created that have the practical skills that businesses require.

Higher Education, Post Graduate and Professional

NPTC is an accredited College of the University of Glamorgan and offers a number of full- and part-time HE courses in a variety of subjects, both at its Neath and Afan Campuses.  Both campuses boast a full range of learner services as well as, excellent facilities, such as the new state-of-the-art HE unit, used exclusively for the delivery of HE courses. Adult Learners

Adult and Community Learning at NPTC covers a wide range of vocational courses both at the Queen Street Centre and Coleg Pontardawe, as well as in centres around Neath Port Talbot County Borough.
We have provision for adults wishing to brush up on their basic literacy and numeracy skills; English for Speaker of Other Languages (ESOL); IT courses (basic to advanced); Modern Foreign Languages; Welsh for Adults and many more.

trainingwales is the commercial unit of NPTC, specialising in providing high quality, cost-effective, accredited and custom-made training programmes for the public, private and voluntary sector in Wales and beyond.

Open Days
