The College
Pembrokeshire College is the county’s largest provider of a wide range of post 16 education, training and other services. Situated in a modern, purpose-built campus in Haverfordwest, we offer young people and adults excellent training opportunities to help them achieve their education, training and career goals.
College tutors provide a disciplined and supportive framework which focuses on students success. For school leavers, the college provides a lively, stimulating environment that acts as a stepping stone towards university and the world of work.

Courses
The College offers a wide range of courses from Arts, Computing and Construction to Marine Engineering and Tourism.
14 -19 years of age
Pembrokeshire College offers the widest choice of study options in the county. We deliver courses in a huge variety of subjects – ranging from foundation and entry level courses up to A Levels and National Diplomas, plus Sports Academies. And your studies don’t have to stop there, Pembrokeshire College is also an accredited college of the University of Glamorgan, so you can continue your studies right up to degree level.
Apprenticeships & Traineeships
If you’re ambitious and want to get your career off the ground right now, a Modern Apprenticeship could be the answer. To become a Modern Apprentice you must be employed.
You’ll get the kind of practical skills and respected qualifications that will land you a first rate career you can be proud of. The sky’s the limit. A Modern Apprenticeship is your opportunity to start learning new things and putting them straight into action.
Higher Education, Post Graduate and Professional
Pembrokeshire College is an Accredited College of the University of Glamorgan. If you are local you can benefit from higher education on your doorstep without the inconvenience and expense of relocating elsewhere.
Students from other areas of the UK are attracted to our niche programmes which utilise unique aspects of the local environment – degrees in Adventure Activities, Coastal Zone and Marine Environment Studies and Sail and Powerboat Studies (including Boat Building and design).
Adult Learners
Pembrokeshire College provides a wide choice of options for adult learners who would like to develop new skills for career or personal development. There are short day time and evening classes in a wide variety of subjects, or longer courses studied over 1 or 2 years, usually one day a week. There are also plenty of full-time options at further and higher education levels.
We also deliver short part-time community courses at venues throughout Pembrokeshire.

At Pembrokeshire College, we understand the difference a highly skilled workforce can make to the success of your business. We can help your staff to develop their skills – either by attending a college course, or an in-house training programme in the workplace.
Pembrokeshire College has a number of training programmes that can be picked off the shelf. Alternatively, we can help put together a bespoke package for your organisation.

At our open days you are able to chat to tutors and career advisors about your future, tour the superb facilities as well as having the chance of winning a laptop.
Our next Open Days are on 12th May, 1st July and 29th July 2008. Wednesday 20 August 2008 will be our Higher Education Open Day from 11am – 3pm.
